You could just use the extra space and time you get by not making hoppers to put twice the machines and have to come back to use them half as many times. Automated factory in Stardew Valley won't be too op, imo. Assuming the setup consisting of input hopper - machine - output hopper and don't forget about 2 empty space for you to input and take the output, that's already 5 tiles.
