Your dealer should do a full recalibration as a minimum. If they won't, try another dealer or call SOA and explain the issue.

I use the button on the screen to disable it when backing into my garage, but it always re-engages when I shift out of reverse and is on the next time I back up. I'm unaware of any way to turn the function off. Might be time for a dealer checkup. Dan.

Supposedly if you go into the cars system settings on the dash under RAB you can turn off the Sonar sensors then the RAB will show as off. That is not happening on my 2019. The sensors are off and it's much better but the RAB is not off.
