Feb 5, 2020 · When you start up Star Citizen, it has a great little feature called FOIP, which is face over IP. Your character in the game will move their face as it is tracking yours. At the moment this is a default setting that surprises a lot of people when they first start up Star Citizen.

Changing your resolution ratios crops and adjusts your FOV. Lighting is very important. Too little and it wont track, too much, like sunlight through your window, and it can create too much contrast and not track. This is even if it looks fine to you. It tracks better if your face is evenly lit by similar color light.
