Ooma outgoing calls not working

I can not receive incoming phone calls, no display or ring tones, outgoing calls OK. I have been working with Ooma support and tech support for six days for many hours by phone calls with Ooma. The support staffs at Ooma has very terrible communication skills, they need more training before being allow to talk to customers.

That stranger thing is, the softphone app on my Android device works over the Wi-Fi, but the VoIP phone does not work plugged directly into the 5G gateway does not work. My 9 year old Ooma works fine. Softphone 8x8 works as well. I hang up and call back and it usually works the second time, but sometimes it takes 3-4 tries to get a good connection. This happens on many calls, maybe 30%, and it is incredible frustrating. Tom, I do not have an Ooma phone. I have been using a Vtech cordless phone (2 phone units). Not sure how to access the Ooma menu on this phone. As for the sound going out, it's on all outgoing calls - local or otherwise.
