Lags the server out a bit but I get tons of berries and thatch this way. Only downside is you don't get any fiber. Growing them also works if you keep them well fertilized. :) Plus you can leave an excess in the planters and they last for a long time (not sure exactly how long but it's better than your pockets). #2.

When I am out harvesting or scouting etc I usually keep my dinos on neutral so if I get attacked and killed they have a chance to defend themselves. For narco berries.
