ABOUT THE KITE SYSTEM AND EDUCATOR PORTAL The Kite system was designed to deliver the next generation of large-scale assessments and was tailored to meet the needs of students with the most significant cognitive disabilities, who often have multiple disabilities. Kite Educator Portal allows educators and test administrators to identify supports that are used in the classroom on a regular basis and enter them into a Personal Needs Profile (PNP). Students’ PNPs should be well thought out and created before beginning any type of assessment.The Minister of General Education launched the Sahitham Portal. The Sahitham portal was developed by Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) with SCERT. Designated staff and teachers have user accounts in Kite Educator Portal to manage student, user and test data and retrieve reports and extracts related to testing.
