It's a challenge to get good value cloud hosted VPS. The server requires requires a lot of memory and decent CPU. Roughly 2Gb+500Mb per player slot. So if you want 32 or more players then 16Gb won't cut it, you need 32Gb or close to it. Big global providers such as AWS and Google are expensive.

Ask G-portal to replace it with a backup for you. If they can't then you'd have to start a new world. Unless you have a backup, they you could. replace it.
