The company’s pitch is it’s more natural without additives unlike the Glucola drink the doctor gives you. It comes in a packet that you mix with 10 oz of water. It tastes just like a lemonade mix, very similar to Minute Maid lemonade except without the chemically taste. I think the bitterness helps offset the sweet in a helpful way.

Fresh test definitely tastes better. I’m on my 4th pregnancy and failed my 1 hour one time throughout all my pregnancies (coincidentally, it was the time I used Fresh Test) and never had an issue with the glucola until this pregnancy. I had a really really nasty crash a few hours later.

It only contains either one or two (depending on the flavor) more ingredients than the fresh test and it’s one single 10oz serving so I don’t worry about it much.
