Soul Guard (Cheryl Mason) Gain Endurance after being healed or recovered from the Dying State. Mettle of Man is now pretty much useless unless you plan to regularly body block the Killer or run alongside someone else constantly - and even then, protection scores are really inconsistent. Decisive Strike is still good as an anti-tunneling tool, it's just that its window of use is more limited/narrow.

You have to be altruistic in order to get some use out of it. Safe unhooks was altruistic but they removed it. Now it's somehow worse then decisive strike. Okay. But Mettle of Man activates when they are hit 3 times with a basic attack. Soo dealing with it during a chase is not likely till the later part of the game. You are going to mainly see this perk after the exit gates are powered or to help save survivors or to help counter major tunneling.
