Over the past few weeks I have had some connection issues but they are very good about getting someone out either the same day or the next. Both are $70/month, 1GBps up/down, 1 year contract, installation and equipment included free. I'm unlikely to get TV, but TV + Internet is $120 on AT&T vs $130 on Google, although I'm sure Google has more channels. AT&T has a $140/month option with a ton of channels, probably a better comparison to Google.

Like u/KingSniper2010 said, Google dumb switch bypass. Invest in a cheap UPS to keep your ONT and switch battery backed up since a reboot of either device will break the setup and require the ATT gateway to be added back into the chain and the bypass reapplied.

TMobile's home internet service is just LTE right now 5g set for 2021. I agree with 5g being good for competition. I just hope it doesn't prevent fiber competition from coming my way haha.
