I thought it was a good idea, but having never used a mag locked AR I’m not impressed… my AR with a JT kit while lacking a bolt lock back works better overall. As far as maglock gen4, lots of issues. The maglock button is always rotating even with a lock-tited set screw cranked down hard. It also likes backing off the maglock post.
