If the choice is Speed Triple of 1100 Evo, Speed Triple all day long with my money. Street vs 1100 Evo, I'd go Evo but understand that Triumph maintenance in those years is closer to Japanese bike maintenance. The Ducati will require more attention and more expensive service costs. The newest SS looks a lot like a Panigale, has good (and relatively easily upgrade-able) power, great suspension that can handle a track day when dialed-in, and a lot more daily useability. Love the look of Ducati, and seat height is excellent (I’m short), MT-07 was a little more uncomfortable to reach the ground. MT-07 has less miles and 2 years newer than the Ducati. Original was a superbike, with plenty of engine choices, with ergonomics better for every day. The new Streetfighter is wahs the Monster used to be, Ducati's naked superbike. All generations of ducati you could even confortabily ride with pilion, something the new clearly isn't. 1.
