Went for ECM update, new DCM instead. I own a 2019 3.6 Limited with 80k miles on it. Like many folks, I’ve been having dead battery issues because of the DCM parasitic draw. I pulled the fuse and was going to live with it, but wanted to have the ECM update for alternator output done. Dealership looked at it.

All my empty fuse slots show 12V power when the car is off - none of em seem to be ignition fuses. They don't make it easy on us.As others stated all batteries need to be cleaned or risk this issue, some worse than others. You have two options, maintain/check your vehicle more often yourself. If that is correct, and the car under discussion has a keyed ignition switch, the Remote Start causing the fuse to blow is even more unlikely.Just now, I googled EGI+B because that was where I found a 140ma current drain. The place to start would be actually measuring dark current on your Outback; it should be less than 70 mA, per Subaru.Yeah definitely sounds like a fuse issue. If it isn't labeled on the lid of the fuse compartment, the owners manual should say which is which.
