The recordings also don't appear to be anywhere in Stream, i.e. where recordings used to be stored, before we noticed the functional change within Teams (over the last summer). Due to "seeing" that functional change, we presumed that we had already been switched to the new method of the recordings being stored in OneDrive/SharePoint.

I'm disappointed as there was no indication that Teams was unable to record my call. Looking into the Streams, OneDrive and SharePoint folders, it's like the call never happened. Teams meeting recordings are moving to the new Stream. When your organization is saving meeting recordings to OneDrive and SharePoint instead of Microsoft Stream (Classic), they will no longer show up in the Stream (Classic) portal under My content > Meetings.
