A new Sonic 3 Beta was showcased today on HiddenPalace's Sonic Month stream, where they previously showed newly found Sonic 2 and CD betas. This one was dated November 3 (even though it was probably compiled in October), which is a mere 4 months before the final release. And yet, it features so many differences:

Ashura from Sonic 2 comes with all 3 shields in place of the insta shield. Despite being a Sonic clone the Drop Dash option doesn't work for him.
