The 17 has a lot of recoil in factory configuration so I tuned it down by buying a new gas jet which was $8 and easy to install. My ACE 308 won’t hold zero when I take the top cover on and off, so it is a big annoyance. I have the KNS Plastic delete kit, KNS adjustable piston, hand brake hand stop, Valhalla tactical Baldr Hybrid light body/mount with the surefire tape switch, was running an Eotech on it but took it off and put it on my MCX.
