I have a pile of Ego tools already, and am looking to pick up a string trimmer, pole saw, and cultivator over the next few months. Since the pole saw and cultivator use the multi head system, I am wondering whether to get the string trimmer too - but if the standalone string trimmers are much better, maybe it's worth a few more bucks to get one of those.

I have the multi-head set-up (edger, trimmer, pole saw, hedger, and now bristle brush from a recent lowes sale). Was looking to see if Ego made the Line IQ set-up for the multi-head, but have never seen anything on it. Have had the ego equipment for about a year, just completed use of the trimmer line that comes pre-installed.
