Probably 5s as a general advice. Good in ships, gas mirror matches, gas counter to kylo, and since his stats are shared to the other clones, also good for the KAM mission. In particular to kill reek you also need a high relic arc. I would say gear up 5s and arc in paralel, since the lower relics are much cheaper. According to Tactical Awareness description on swgoh.gg, while 5s is alive the protected target just cannot be killed by damage (i.e. effects which reduce health), and when 5s sacrifice triggered they actually didn't die at all. This "revive" is just healing instead (unlike NS by Zombie, for example).
