Lightfall economy changes greatly buffed the amount of Enhancement Cores dropped from Legendary Lost Sectors. Clearing a Legend Lost Sector grants roughly 3-4 cores, taking only a couple of minutes to complete with a good build. Statistically, if we take those rates at face value (true rate may vary by a couple points, but is likely quite close), ten platinum Legend runs without a drop will happen about 6.4% of the time. i.e., approximately 1 out of every 15 sets of ten runs would result in 0 exotic drops. So your luck has been quite poor, but not improbably so.

Some of them such as Veles Labyrinth and Exodus Garden 2A (the Cosmodrome ones) aren't that much harder on Master, so you're better off doing those on Master. However others such as Perdition, Concealed Void, and Bunker E15 (the Europa ones) are considerably harder on Master.I've been doing legend and master lost sectors and a few seasons ago I would get an exotic every other completion on legend and pretty much every completion on master.
