Strimtom builds.
The only viable top end DPS that uses S&B I have seen is a swashbuckler build but that is more like Dagger and Buckler. I had some buddies run it through a couple of R10 RXP farming cycles and they said it was decent. It is possible there is some rogue or warlock build that is decent, but I have no idea about those classes as I don't play them.

Generally what you want for effective soloing is AOE damage, defenses, and some kind of self-heal or sustainability. I'd say three popular choices right now are Paladin, Barb, and Wizard EK/PM.

As for the specific builds, thinking Strimtom's Season 4 Hardcore Ready builds. Solo friendly. I always take in this order, in order to get rube arms first abd unlock free ranger feats "in time". 1-2, arty. 3-8 ranger. 9-20 rogue. My two suggestions to learn the quests: Paladin - very self sufficient, heals, 2 hander and just mow everything down. Rogue or some sort of Rogue multi - This will help you learn where the traps are.
