Sorry for the crappy pic, was early in the morning. Will try and get a better one today and change the pic out. Highly recommend the 1.25" body lift.A code P0340 could mean one or more of the following has happened: a wire or connector in the circuit could be grounded/shorted/broken. the camshaft position sensor may have failed. the PCM may have failed. there exists an open circuit. a crankshaft position sensor may have failed. With a P0340 Code diagnosis can be tricky at times.When it fails, the ECM/PCM should be replaced. The OEM setup is a good setup in a way; it uses battery temp sensor to increase charging voltage to heat up the battery and keep up the battery charge. It's a typical setup with disc up front and drums in the rear. I have the AMC20 in the back and a Dana something up front (Not quite sure ). Connected red wire to red wire going to starter solenoid on battery positive side. I've found that the 4.0L runs best on champion copper plugs. The same kind that it came with. Since your XJ is a 2001, it won't have plug wires or a distributor but instead has a coil pack ignition. As far as the E3 plugs or other fancy ones, thats your own decision.Much less the fact that there's no diagram anywhere for these color wires. Seeing that I have a 1987 YJ and have been modifying it with older specs; I decided to do the dash conversion.
