The Pro Series was launched in 2023. The main difference between the X-35/X-50/PRO Machines and the ELITE Series is the controller. I have the X-50 woodworker and so far I’ve been really happy with it, machine is super solid. The linear ball bushings and ball screw setup is imo the best setup amongst the hobby machines. Ball screws offer better rigidity, load ratings, accuracy and repeatability vs belts. Choosing the base is probably the hardest part of the setup.
