There are offline CMS you can do to save money. Also, you can do offline NBME 9 and 10. Nbme 11 should be done online as the offline score predictor underestimates the actual score. It should save you some money. I also come from a poor background but like you, I earned myself a full scholarship to get into a PhD program in the states.

Took form 9 today. Scored 250. I feel like the exam was much harder compared to older nbme forms. I advice that you really think like a doctor when answering questions on form 9 and give it your all to interpret what the question is really asking.
