My M29-2 is 1979, my M19-3 is 1974.

The frames were actually made as pre production frames but stored until the 1960s. Your serial number is from 1963-1965 likely. The M prefix was used exclusively on the .22/32 line of revolvers. These would include the Models 34, 35, 43, 51 and 63 (all of those except the Model 35 were Kit Guns). The M prefix came into use in 1969 and remained the sole sequence for this line of revolvers until the three-alpha numbers replaced them in 1983.
