Not a fact but I think they don't get stronger but there will be higher tier enemies until you only spawn scavengers. Oh I thought it'd be overloading worms, because they have the highest cost to spawn. Yeah I thought it would spawn them too but it spawns Elite Scavengers after you're on a run long enough for that.Ok, so the wake of vultures is pretty… underwhelming. I don't think many people know this but wake of vultures is an incredibly powerful defensive tool provided you can kill elites fast and wouldn't you know there is a perfect white item for that. Normally everybody dodges this item because of the shielded elites and how shield interacts with your health however gaining the effect of whatever elite you killed you become immune to that effect.

Wake of vultures I don't see often enough to make an educated statement on, but from when I've gotten it it's just been 'meh'. Ghor's Tome makes early game so much better. It's SO GOOD to have, probably one of my favourite items. Buckler only works while sprinting. Captain can't shoot and sprint.
